A pesquisa realizada pela Newsweek, revista americana em parceria com Statista Inc, respeitada empresa global de pesquisa de dados apresenta o HMC entre os tr\u00eas melhores hospitais de Minas Gerais, e o 17\u00ba lugar do Brasil (subindo cinco posi\u00e7\u00f5es em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao ano passado). A lista menciona 2.000 hospitais de 25 pa\u00edses, incluindo Canad\u00e1, Alemanha, Estados Unidos e Reino Unido que se destacam por sua excel\u00eancia consistente, incluindo m\u00e9dicos renomados, cuidados de enfermagem de primeira linha e tecnologia de ponta.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>O ranqueamento levou em considera\u00e7\u00e3o as recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es de especialistas m\u00e9dicos, resultados de pesquisas com pacientes e indicadores m\u00e9dicos. O hospital atende a 70% SUS, sendo o 5\u00ba em n\u00fameros de interna\u00e7\u00f5es pelo SUS em Minas. A evolu\u00e7\u00e3o continuada dos seus processos e a incorpora\u00e7\u00e3o tecnol\u00f3gica s\u00e3o partes indissoci\u00e1veis do HMC, que se tornou a primeira entidade hospitalar do Brasil a obter o certificado de Acredita\u00e7\u00e3o com Excel\u00eancia, concedido pela Institui\u00e7\u00e3o Nacional de Acredita\u00e7\u00e3o (ONA).
